India, Oct. 5 -- With the aim of reviving archery's popularity, actor Randeep Hooda and his wife, actor and former national-level archer Lin Laishram, have stepped into the world of sports entrepreneurship as co-owners of Prithviraaj Yodhas. It is the Delhi franchise in the inaugural Archery Premier League (APL), alongside Dr Vikas Garg, Chairman, Ebix Group. The 10-day league, being held from October 2 to 12 at the Capital's Yamuna Sports Complex, brings together top archers from India and around the world in a modern, franchise-based format. A grand opening ceremony was held recently, graced by actor Ram Charan and leaders, including Union Minister Arjun Munda, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, and Union Minister Harsh Malhotra. APL 2025 features six franchises, with leading Indian and international archers, including Andrea Becerra, Abhishek Verma, Brady Ellison, Deepika Kumari, Atanu Das, and Jyothi Surekha. Adding further strength to the initiative, Ebix has partnered with the APL as part of its commitment to shaping India's sporting ecosystem and encouraging youth participation in archery. Ebix has previously supported marquee events such as the IPL 2024, UP Volleyball League 2025, Delhi Premier League 2025, the Celebrity Cricket League 2025, and digital promotions for Wimbledon 2025. With stars like Randeep and Lin now backing the sport, the league is set to inspire a new generation.
