India, June 9 -- Actor Aubrey Plaza made it red carpet official at the 2026 Tony Awards in New York City on Sunday, cradling her baby bump as she posed with partner, actor Christopher Abbott. Plaza, 41, attended the ceremony in support of Abbott, 40, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for his role as Biff Loman in the revival of Death of a Salesman. Plaza wore a Chanel floor-length black pinstriped dress, while Abbott opted for a black velvet jacket, white shirt, black tie and black trousers. The appearance came after Plaza confirmed her pregnancy on April 20. Speaking on the SmartLess podcast with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, she had said, "Well, there's a baby inside of me. I've always wanted to see what that's all about, you know? It just seems so interesting, that whole thing." The night also saw costume designer Qween Jean make Tony history. She won Best Costume Design of a Musical for Cats: The Jellicle Ball, becoming the first openly transgender person to win a Tony Award. Interestingly, Jean was also nominated for Best Costume Design of a Play for Liberation. "This experience has been monumental," Jean said in her acceptance speech. She added, "We are here for the legacy of queer people, trans people." Jean wore a ruffled pink gown of her own design. Cats: The Jellicle Ball had nine nominations this year, including Best Revival of a Musical. htc...
