India, May 29 -- Actors Michael Bergin, Kelly Packard and David Chokachi, who were a part of the hit series Baywatch in the 1990s, returned to their lifeguard duties as the trio was pictured filming scenes for the upcoming reboot of the series in Venice Beach, California, on May 27. The visual triggered a wave of nostalgia among the fans of the franchise as the trio seemed to be reprising their roles for the new show. David's return was officially confirmed earlier this year, and the reboot will also star some new entries including Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, Jessica Belkin, Noah Beck, Brooks Nader and Livvy Dunne. The original Baywatch premiered in 1989 and ran for 11 seasons through 2001, with David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra and more starring in the series during its run.
