Mumbai immersed in some hard-CORE pop culture fun
India, June 22 -- What happens when anime fans, gamers, manga and comic readers, wrestling devotees and Bollywood enthusiasts all assemble under one roof? The C.O.R.E- Culture of Real Experiences Fandom Fest at Jio World Convention Centre gave a glimpse of that as HT City got a preview into the two day festival held on June 20 and 21. Even celebrities became part of the celebration with actors Jackie Shroff, Sayani Gupta, Ashnoor Kaur, Tanuj Virwani, and influencers Agastya Shah, Prateik Jaiin and others, joining in.
The event saw dedicated sections for Anime fans, celebration of Indian excellence with Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali and Indian Armed Forces taking centre stage, global releases like Supergirl, Jurassic World, Minions getting a display and F1 racing and kids corner adding to the fun. A central stage hosted performances including a sumo wrestling match, special acts by W.I.S.H, Nucleya and other artistes. It was a true celebration of pop culture....
