Margot recalls being gifted a book on weight loss by co-star
India, Feb. 11 -- A
ctor Margot Robbie recently recalled a "shocking" encounter from her early days in Hollywood. During a recent chat with singer-songwriter Charli XCX for media outlet Complex, the 35-year-old revealed that a male co-star once gifted her a book with a pointed message: lose weight; which left her shocked.
Margot shared that the incident took place "really back in the day," when she was just starting out. The book in question was French-American author Mireille Guiliano's 2007 bestseller, French Women Don't Get Fat. "It was a book telling you to eat less. He essentially gave me a book to let me know that I should lose weight. I was like, 'Wow,'" she said.
The actor didn't hold back while recalling her reaction at the time. "Whoa, f**k you, dude," she remembered thinking. When asked where the unnamed actor is now, Margot admitted she has no idea. Charli XCX, however, had the perfect response: "Your career's over, babe." HTC...
