India, Oct. 9 -- South Korean entertainment company HYBE, which manages K-pop group BTS, announced the India debut of its Weverse Con Festival at an event in Mumbai on Wednesday. Scheduled for March 27 and 28, 2027, in Delhi, it will be the festival's first edition outside South Korea. The announcement was marked by K-pop fans singing and dancing to popular tracks at the Mumbai event. The two-day festival will feature K-pop and Indian artists, including collaboration performances, although HYBE is yet to reveal the lineup. The festival, previously held in South Korea, combines live concerts with fan activities. Details of the participating artists and ticket sales are awaited. The announcement also marks another step in HYBE's expansion in India. The company opened its Indian headquarters in Mumbai in September 2025 and launched nationwide auditions earlier this year to form a global girl group with Indian talent.
