India, Oct. 24 -- South Korean boy band ENHYPEN has won praise from World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus for a blood donation campaign that drew around 10,000 participants, according to the group's agency, Belift Lab. The agency said the six members met Tedros at HYBE's Seoul headquarters on Thursday to discuss the initiative, The Korea Times reported. "Blood is the most precious gift anyone can give to another person - the gift of life," Tedros said, praising the band for promoting blood donation. "ENHYPEN and Engene have real power to influence the world. I'm your fan, too," he added. Launched in January alongside the group's seventh EP, THE SIN: VANISH, the campaign partnered with the Korean Red Cross, deploying blood donation buses at popular fan locations and holding online events. From January 16 to 25, 7,730 people donated blood, including 1,031 first-time donors. The campaign later expanded to Japan and Singapore, bringing total participation to around 10,000.HTC...
