India's Olympic icon leads relay

lympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra on Thursday said he felt "truly humbled" and "honoured" after carrying the Olympic torch ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics, which begin on Friday in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
Bindra, India's first individual Olympic gold medallist for his 10m air rifle victory at the 2008 Beijing Games, participated in the torch relay after being selected as a torchbearer in October last year. In a social media post, the 43-year-old described the Olympic flame as "a symbol of unity, perseverance, and shared human aspiration."
The 2026 Winter Olympics will run until February 22, featuring athletes from around the world competing in 116 medal events across 16 disciplines. Italy is hosting the Winter Games for the fourth time in history. HTC...
