Hilary Duff celebrates 22 years of Metamorphosis
India, Aug. 30 -- Hilary Duff marked the 22nd anniversary of her breakthrough album Metamorphosis on Instagram with a photo dump that brought back her teenage era. The actor-singer reflected on this major milestone in an Instagram post and wrote, "Clearly I had to go digging around the internet for pictures from this time as I'm not sure camera phones even existed. Sadly all my hairstyles ARE very documented."
The 37-year-old added: "I do know this marker of time was a huge change in my being. I was embarking on something I had no idea would make such an impact on peoples lives, and mine. As much as I look back and think this album doesn't hold the emotional depth I look for today, I know my 14/15 year old self meant every word."
Hilary couldn't help but be glad that her music resulted in "a pretty epic adventure" and shared, "I remember some of my first shows being in a skate park in San Jose, and very shortly after, stepping out on stage in arenas."
Best known for essaying the titular role of the series Lizzie McGuire, which also launched her music career, Hilary's last album, Breathe In. Breathe Out, was released in 2015. In her post, she shared several throwback photos, including behind-the-scenes shot from the music video for her 2003 track Come Clean from the album.
