Her professionalism has not changed: Akshay Kumar on Raveena Tandon
India, June 12 -- A
fter delivering several hit films together, including Mohra (1994), Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996) and Police Force: An Inside Story (2004), actors Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon are set to reunite on screen in Welcome to the Jungle. The two also famously dated in the 1990s before parting ways. Responding to a question from HT City during the film's trailer launch on Thursday, Akshay praised Raveena's professionalism and recalled an incident from their early days in the industry. "Her professionalism has not changed, she is still the same. I remember we were shooting a film and the sun was about to set. There were only 25-30 minutes left and the green room was quite far away. She had to change and come back for a shot, which seemed impossible," Akshay said, adding, "But I still remember, she stepped into a generator van, got ready there and returned in time for the shot."
The actor also lauded Raveena's growth over the years, saying, "A lot of changes have happened in her. She is a brilliant actor. The biggest change being, she was a heroine earlier, and now she is a heroine's mother," he joked, referring to Raveena's daughter, actor Rasha Thadani....
