Did Taylor diss Charli XCX on new track?
India, Oct. 4 -- Taylor Swift's newly-released 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl has already sparked fan frenzy. The singer's latest release, her first since her engagement to Travis Kelce, features a track titled Actually Romantic that listeners are convinced is aimed at British singer Charli XCX.
The song features a line (see inset above) about being called 'Boring Barbie' and a reference to one of the singer's exes. Swifties are convinced the lyrics are a response to Charli's 2024 track Sympathy is a Knife, where she talks about not wanting to see a girl backstage at her boyfriend (now husband) musician George Daniel's show. Taylor had a brief romance with George's bandmate, Matty Healy.
Charli had previously opened for Taylor's Reputation tour in 2018, but haven't publicly interacted with each other since. Neither singer has addressed the speculation around the track yet. htc...
