India, Oct. 4 -- Taylor Swift's newly-released 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl has already sparked fan frenzy. The singer's latest release, her first since her engagement to Travis Kelce, features a track titled Actually Romantic that listeners are convinced is aimed at British singer Charli XCX. The song features a line (see inset above) about being called 'Boring Barbie' and a reference to one of the singer's exes. Swifties are convinced the lyrics are a response to Charli's 2024 track Sympathy is a Knife, where she talks about not wanting to see a girl backstage at her boyfriend (now husband) musician George Daniel's show. Taylor had a brief romance with George's bandmate, Matty Healy. Charli had previously opened for Taylor's Reputation tour in 2018, but haven't publicly interacted with each other since.
