BTS to livestream Busan concert in theatres worldwide
India, May 22 -- Global K-pop boyband BTS will livestream its upcoming Busan concert from the ongoing Arirang world tour in movie theatres worldwide next month, the group's agency confirmed on Thursday.
BigHit Music said the second of the two-night concerts, scheduled for June 12 and 13 at South Korea's Busan Asiad Main Stadium, will be livestreamed in more than 3,800 theatres across 80 countries, as per The Korea Times. However, due to time zone differences, audiences in North America, South America and Europe will get delayed screenings within one to two days.
The opening concerts were also livestreamed internationally through multiple theatre chains, including a special partnership with PVR Inox Cinemas in India. At the same time, the concerts streamed globally on Netflix, allowing fans to experience the performances from home.
The group, celebrating its 12th anniversary on June 13, kicked off the Arirang tour last month in Goyang, South Korea. Spanning 85 shows across 34 cities, the Busan concert will also see BTS return to the venue where the members last performed together in 2022 before beginning South Korea's mandatory military service.HTC...
