India, Sept. 16 -- A mitabh Bachchan has addressed speculation about his retirement after a recent blog post led some fans to believe that the veteran actor was planning to step away from the film industry. Days after the rumours began, he took to his blog on Monday to set the record straight. Sharing a newspaper clipping about his supposed retirement, he wrote, "I wrote in the blog... 'it's late, time to retire...' which we all know means retire to bed; it's late... and this is the Media - the Conscience of a Nation - The ultimate informer!! (sic)" Reiterating that he has no plans to quit anytime soon, the 83-year-old added in Hindi, "Ji nahin huzoor, main kaam se retire nahin ho raha hoon; Angrezi mein iska matlab hota hai main ab sone jaa raha hoon. Aur wahan maanyavar aapko aane ka nimantran nahin hai."
