New Delhi, April 15 -- The Public Works Department (PWD) has initiated a road improvement and drainage project on New Rohtak Road to reduce waterlogging at the Zakhira Zero Point, central Delhi, officials said on Tuesday.
The work started last week, involves laying interlocking paver blocks and a precast central verge, and is scheduled to be completed within 60 days, officials added. The Zakhira stretch is among the city's most vulnerable areas to waterlogging in central Delhi during the monsoon season. snehil sinha
