India, April 10 -- The story of Lalit Modi, Yuvraj Singh, and the infamous Porsche 911 is one of modern Indian cricket's most well-known folktales. The story goes that IPL founder Modi promised a car to any Indian batter going to the inaugural 2007 World T20 that could hammer six sixes in a single over - a statistical improbability, but something famously accomplished by Yuvraj as he took a liking to Stuart Broad in Durban.
It remains a story which has some allure as an indication of what T20 would go on to become - the glitzy, glamorous, supercar-driving cousin of the traditional game, the brainchild of Modi and the IPL. But what was the truth of this tall tale?
