Jamshedpur, April 2 -- A day after a man bought jewellery worth Rs.5,700 from a jewellery shop on Shankosai Road No-1 under the Ulidih police station (PS) in Jamshedpur on Monday, he managed to steal and flee away with jewellery worth Rs.24 lakh from the same shop the next day on Tuesday, police said on Wednesday.

"We are examining the CCTV footage of Biswanath Jewellers in Shankosai under the Ulidih PS limits and have circulated his CCTV footage to every PS in the city and the district. CCTV footage has also been sent to other neighbouring states.
