India, March 24 -- Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal will not be joining the squad for the upcoming 2026 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), franchise director of cricket Mo Bobat confirmed on Tuesday during a pre-tournament press conference.
While Bobat refrained from going into details, he described the situation as a "personal matter" and reiterated that the left-arm seamer remains contracted with the franchise.
"He's going through a personal situation. He remains under contract," Bobat said.
