New Delhi, Feb. 8 -- India needs a comprehensive review of tiger conservation policy decisions taken over the last five decades, Union minister for environment, forest and climate change Bhupender Yadav said on Saturday."India has completed 50 years of tiger conservation, and this is an appropriate time for a comprehensive policy review," shared Yadav. Yadav called for a review of all the policy decisions taken in the 28 National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) meetings held since 2026 and suggested that the next meeting should focus on consolidating the policy decisions taken over the last five decades into a formal policy statement.
