India, April 3 -- A 47-year-old woman and her 21-year-old daughter were critically injured after a speeding vehicle hit their two-wheeler near an underpass on Golf Course Road, police said on Thursday.

Police identified the two as Renu Bala and her daughter Priyanshi, both residents of Sector-23 (East pocket) in Palam Vihar. Bala was riding her scooter with Priyanshi in the back seat. The two were headed to their relative's house in Sector-56 when the accident took place at 5.15pm on Sunday.
