India, Oct. 8 -- Mia Goth has officially taken the next legal step in ending her marriage to Shia LaBeouf, filing for divorce more than a year after the couple separated.

The 32-year-old British actress submitted a petition for dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles County on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Court documents obtained by TMZ list "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and identify July 28, 2025, as the date of separation. Reports surrounding their separation indicate that the relationship had been facing problems for some time.

PEOPLE previously described Goth and LaBeouf's relationship as "has always been complicated," while an insider said Goth "encouraged" the actor to move out of their home.
