India, April 4 -- Interstate 4 eastbound in Seminole County is shut down near mile marker 102 in Sanford due to heavy police activity involving a possible explosive in a truck, according to News6. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.

According to witnesses, multiple roads in the area are closed, and law enforcement is actively on scene. Florida 511 reports that I-4 east is blocked near the old Seminole Towne Center.

Traffic cameras show both the Florida Highway Patrol and Seminole County Sheriff's Office responding.

Seminole County wrote on X, "Motorists please be advised that all eastbound lanes of Interstate 4 (I-4) are closed near mile marker 102, close to SR 46 in Sanford. Please seek alternate routes and expect delays."...
