India, May 24 -- A shooting was reported outside the White House on Saturday and Secret Service members reportedly rushed reporters to shelter. A video was shared by an ABC News reporter who was in the middle of her segment when shots could be heard in the background.

"I was in the middle of taping on my iPhone for a social video from the White House North Lawn when we heard the shots. It sounded like dozens of gunshots. We were told to sprint to the press briefing room where we are holding now," she wrote on X.
