India, Aug. 13 -- Lindsay Clancy remains at Tewksbury Hospital while her first-degree murder trial continues in Plymouth Superior Court. The 35-year-old former labor and delivery nurse is accused of killing her three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, in January 2023. Clancy has pleaded not guilty and is using an insanity defense. Her lawyers say severe postpartum mental illness affected her state of mind when the children died. She has remained at Tewksbury since 2023 and continues to receive medical care there. The hospital is not a prison, but Clancy remains in state custody.
