India, April 18 -- Parts of Pennsylvania are under a freeze watch early this week, with forecasters warning that temperatures could drop as low as 29degF on Monday and into the 20s by Tuesday in some regions.
According to the National Weather Service, the alerts are in effect between midnight and 9 am local time, across multiple counties, raising concerns about potential damage to crops, vegetation and outdoor infrastructure.
A freeze watch is issued when there is a possibility of sub-freezing temperatures, typically in the range of 29degF to 32degF, in the coming days.
