Wehrlein crowned Formula E champion
London, Aug. 17 -- The 2025-26 Formula E World Championship concluded with a chaotic season finale at the ExCeL Circuit here on Sunday, crowning Porsche's Pascal Wehrlein world champion for the second time, the German having won his first in 2023-24.
Wehrlein arrived here third in the standings with 141 points. He trailed championship leader, Andretti's Jake Dennis, who had 146 points, and Jaguar TCS Racing's Mitch Evans, who was second with 144 points.
However, Wehrlein achieved a turnaround this weekend winning Saturday's opening race. And despite a 14th place finish on Sunday, the German snatched the title as he finished with 169 points, ahead of Dennis (164) and Evans (160).
