Chandigarh, Oct. 14 -- The autopsy of the body of Haryana IPS officer, Y Puran Kumar, was yet to be conducted, a week after his death, as the standoff between Chandigarh Police and Kumar's family continued. Police on Monday sent a fresh reminder to the officer's family, urging them to allow the autopsy to preserve evidence. The family, however, continued to insist they will not permit the procedure until Haryana DGP Shatrujeet Singh Kapur and former Rohtak SP Narendra Bijarniya, both named in the officer's alleged "final note", were arrested.
