India, Aug. 14 -- A dispute between two groups over moving a vehicle escalated into a violent clash in lane number 1 of Meenatai Thackeray Vasahat in Gultekdi on Wednesday afternoon, leaving four people seriously injured, police said on Thursday.

The Swargate police have registered separate cases of attempt to murder against 14 people from both groups and arrested two persons.

The first complaint was lodged by Keshav Anil Shivsharan, 20, of Meenatai Thackeray Vasahat. Based on his complaint, police arrested Rohit Gambhir Singh, 28, and booked five of his alleged associates.

The incident took place around 4pm. Rahul Dhone and Akshay Kamble sustained serious injuries in the attack, police said.
