India, Oct. 29 -- Uttar Pradesh has recorded a steady rise in both air passenger movement and cargo traffic in the current financial year, reflecting growing connectivity and aviation infrastructure development across the state. Between April and August 2025, passenger traffic at airports in Uttar Pradesh increased by 14.6% year-on-year to reach around 60 lakh travelers. During the same period, the state's share in the country's total air passenger traffic rose to 3.52%.
