India, Nov. 16 -- The US State Department has issued its December 2025 visa bulletin, sharing various important updates for immigrants seeking lawful permanent residency. The bulletin has revealed forward movement across various family-sponsored and employment-based categories. Thousands of applicants can now move closer to green card eligibility.

Two reference charts are released by the State Department bulletin each month - Final Action Dates (FAD) and Dates for Filing (DOF). The first is the earliest priority date at which a green card can be issued, and the second is when applicants may submit adjustment or visa paperwork.
