PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 20 -- Fingers have been pointed over the question paper of the assistant professor (mathematics) main examination for recruitment in government degree colleges, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on September 18, after candidates alleged that 16 of the 20 questions were repeated verbatim from the 2020 lecturer recruitment examination for government secondary schools.

According to the candidates, 80% of the questions were identical to those asked in the lecturer recruitment examination conducted by the commission on September 19, 2021. One additional question allegedly had only a minor modification, while just three questions were new.
