GREATER NOIDA, Sept. 25 -- The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday announced an ex-gratia of Rs.2 lakh for the family of each victim of the bus that caught fire on The Yamuna Expressway, while Rs.2 lakh will also be provided from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF), officials said on Thursday.

Taking cognisance of the incident, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to ensure proper treatment of the injured and provide all possible assistance to the bereaved families.

Injured victims will get Rs.50,000 each from the UP state government and the PMNRF.

The bus, travelling from Delhi to Mahoba in UP, caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway near Greater Noida. At least nine people died and one woman was injured. T...
