U'khand Madrasa Board abolished; 1 body for minority edu institutions
Dehradun, July 2 -- The Uttarakhand government on Wednesday dissolved the Uttarakhand Madrasa Board and launched the Uttarakhand State Minority Education Authority (USAME), replacing the madrasa recognition system with a common regulatory framework covering all notified minority educational institutions.
Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the authority at his official residence and distributed recognition certificates to minority educational institutions.
