India, Aug. 15 -- Two ships with Indian crew on board were attacked with projectiles while passing through the Strait of Hormuz on Friday. All crew members are safe, said the directorate of maritime administration. A Singapore-flagged Oil Products Tanker MT Navig8 Messi with 15 Indian seafarers was reportedly struck by a projectile in the Aft Peak area on Friday, while inbound into the Persian Gulf. The directorate in its report added that a Liberia-flagged Crude Oil Tanker MT Tarif was struck by a projectile in the Freshwater tank area on Friday, outbound from the Persian Gulf.
