CHENNAI, Sept. 10 -- The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) and its partners formally adopted the "Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance" name for the ruling grouping, party leaders said on Wednesday following a coordination committee meeting. The C Joseph Vijay-led party, which won the April 23 assembly polls with 108 of the 234 seats in Tamil Nadu, formed a post-poll coalition with the Congress, Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK). After 59 years, the Congress has two ministers inthe state cabinet, while the VCK and IUML also have a minister each as part of the coalition.
