India, June 30 -- A trainee pilot sustained injuries after her aircraft crash-landed on a field in Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday afternoon, officials said. The aircraft, operated by Chetak Aviation Institute, was being flown by 25-year-old Qayanat Khan, they said. "Chetak Aviation Cessna 152 aircraft VT-AFB engaged in solo flying at Aligarh has crash landed in a field in Kasganj," the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said, adding that the regulator is probing the incident. Kasganj superintendent of police (SP) OP Singh said the trainee pilot was shifted to the district hospital, where she was treated for minor abrasions. She is safe and has only a few abrasions.
