Traffic resumes on caved-in stretch of Delhi-Ggm E-way
Gurugram, July 9 -- The movement of traffic on the damaged stretch at Narsinghpur on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway resumed on Wednesday evening, said National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) officials.
NHAI officials said that the stretch, where a cave-in was reported at around 4.30pm on Tuesday, was repaired with concrete, and covered with metal sheets of 8 mm thickness and opened for traffic.
Officials said that they worked with Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) to fix the damaged stretch.
The damage had led to the closure of two lanes from Delhi to Jaipur side, causing heavy congestion.
