NEW DELHI, July 16 -- A 36-year-old Delhi Traffic Police head constable died on duty after a speeding car allegedly hit him on GT Karnal Road, at Singhu village cut near Delhi-Haryana border on Wednesday evening, senior officers said.
The driver of the vehicle fled the spot, leaving behind the seriously injured head constable, who later succumbed to his injuries. A case of rash and negligent driving causing death was registered at the Alipur police station, police said. htc
