Kolkata, June 15 -- Trinamool Congress (TMC) national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee was questioned for 8.5 hours on Sunday by the Bengal Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in the legislators' signature forgery case, three days after he faced questions for over five hours on June 11. The senior TMC leader entered Bhabani Bhawan, the CID headquarters in Kolkata, around 11.40am and avoided the media when he left around 8.30pm. During these hours, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh was also questioned separately and alongside Banerjee. No CID officer commented on the case. However, Ghosh confirmed the development.
