Panaji, Feb. 25 -- An 65-year-old man was killed in north Goa on Monday after a rented Thar SUV carrying a group of young tourists rammed into his vehicle at a crossroad junction, police said. While another woman in the victim's car suffered injuries, a five-year-old child escaped without injuries. "The police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the driver of the rented jeep. The vehicle has been seized, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact sequence of events leading to the collision," a police officer, who declined to be named, said.
