LUCKNOW, March 3 -- In view of tense situation in West Asia, the protest against the United States, Israel, UAE and Saudi Arabia against the killing of Iran's Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei continued in Old Lucknow area on the second day on Monday.
The protest started on Sunday after the news of Khamenei's killing was confirmed by Iran's government media. Deployment of a heavy police force continued on Monday citing huge crowds.
The protest, called by Maulana Yasoob Abbas, general secretary of All India Shia Personal Law Board, started with a Majlis at Chhota Imambada Monday.
