KOLKATA, Aug. 1 -- Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen landed in Kolkata on Friday, more than 18 years after she was forced to leave the city after violent protests over her writings, to attend a literary event. "I am feeling very happy. Thank you all," the 63-year-old told reporters at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport. The author, who has been living in Delhi on a long-term residence permit for over a decade, is on a two-day visit to Kolkata for an anti-fundamentalism literary event on Saturday.
