Hyderabad, Sept. 3 -- Telangana forests and endowments minister Konda Surekha on Wednesday refused to step down from her post and challenged the Congress high command to sack her, if it decides to do so, for allegedly violating the party discipline. Surekha, who flew to New Delhi on Tuesday, met Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday and presented her version of the controversy triggered by her daughter Konda Sushmita's outburst against the party and Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy at a meeting in Warangal on August 19.
