India, Oct. 11 -- Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has approached the Bombay High Court seeking protection of his personality rights, alleging that social media platforms and websites are misusing his name, image, and likeness through deepfake content.
A single-judge bench of justice Arif S Doctor observed that what people can do with unregulated artificial intelligence (AI) and social media is "scary," while reserving the actor's plea for interim relief.
