India, Oct. 9 -- In India's fast-growing health and fitness market, dietary supplements are everywhere - from gym shelves and pharmacy counters to influencer reels and online marketplaces. They promise everything from weight loss and muscle gain to detoxification and enhanced immunity. Many of them carry the label "clean." But here's the uncomfortable truth: clean doesn't always mean safe.

As the industry explodes, it is also becoming increasingly difficult for consumers to separate science from marketing.
