Stir, minor clashes across country over paper leaks
New Delhi/Patna/Mumbai, July 24 -- Protests continued across the country on Thursday as students demanded the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan over allegations of a NEET paper leak.
Clashes between police and students were reported in Darbhanga, Katihar and Begusarai in Bihar. In Ranchi, people were injured after Congress and BJP workers allegedly hurled stones and eggs at each other during a protest, police said. Some educational institutions asked students to refrain from participating in the demonstrations.
In Bihar, where violent clashes occurred on Wednesday, police used mild force to disperse students in Darbhanga, Katihar and Begusarai.
