India, Sept. 10 -- A day after the Ministry of Education announced the 2025 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) results, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) faced growing discontent among students over its sharp decline in rankings. Several student organizations, groups and political student wings held a dialogue meeting with members of the university's Management Council (MC) on Tuesday, voicing concerns and demanding accountability from the university administration.
