India, Aug. 15 -- Beyond the Spider-Verse, the much-awaited third instalment from the Spider-Verse franchise, was hit by an unexpected online leak. The trailer for the film was leaked online with many accounts on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) sharing it widely. The film's co-writer, Christopher Miller, has reacted with disappointment to the leak.

Reports stated that an unfinished trailer of Beyond the Spider-Verse was shared on X on Thursday. The trailer is not expected to be out before next year. Reacting to the same, the film's co-writer and producer Christopher Miller expressed his discontent with the leak on Friday, writing, "Not a fan of leaks of unfinished, not fully rendered footage."
