The Proteas have been there and thereabouts in the finals or semi-finals of the major tournaments. The 2023 ODI World Cup semi-final, the 2024 T20 World Cup final, the 2025 World Test Championship (WTC) win, and the 2026 T20 World Cup semi-final have shown how the Rainbow Nation are greater than the sum of its parts.
