Six killed, 12 injured in Maha wall collapse
India, May 13 -- At least six people were killed and 12 others injured on Tuesday evening after a wall collapsed and tin sheds fell near a temple in Sangli district of Maharashtra, police officers said. Police said the wall near the Shri Margubai Devi at Motewadi village in Jat taluka collapsed amid gusty winds, trapping several devotees under the debris. Tushar Doshi, superintendent of Sangli police, said, "Due to gusty winds, the wall collapsed, resulting in the death of six devotees. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment."
