India, Sept. 9 -- Singapore authorities are investigating alleged racist comments posted online regarding the recent devastating Nepal floods and Singapore Airlines' (SIA) investment in Air India. Local police have identified and questioned five individuals in connection with the remarks, as confirmed by the Singapore High Commission in India in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

The five people questioned by the officials are aged between 29 and 66, Channel News Asia reported, citing police.

The police confirmed they received reports about the online comments related to both matters, and a probe is underway, according to the report.
